Going into Labour in Mothercare ...

Apparently, if you go into labour while shopping in Mothercare, they not only make you comfortable and call you an ambulance, but they also stuff a bunch of Mothercare vouchers into your handbag while you're trying to remember your breathing and hold onto your dignity!

Now, is this an urban myth? I have no idea, but I do know it's something I've heard from as long as I can remember!

Anyway, as a mother myself, the question needs to be asked. Is it even worth being out and about in a Mothercare store when you're nine months gone in the forlorn hope that nature might swing into action and give you the chance to test out this urban myth?
